Well sort of. They don't overcomplicate it, they just play it like the original but this is a good simplified version for beginners

Wonderful video; very clear and I appreciate showing the lyrics of the first verse and also talking through what lines are sung during various chord changes. The visual graphics of the chords were also helpful as we were moving along the progression.

don't give in i've been at it for 12 months and i'm getting good ,so i'm told by the other guitarists ,guitar aint easy .

I learned most of my repertoire watching these videos. Easy to follow and well-explained. Most of the time he actually exaggerates how difficult the song is, you should know most of the songs on this channel and you can FEEL which cord is next. Grab your $89 classic guitar (like the one I have) and get playing

I'm learning guitar :) This was very helpful It's been a couple of days, maybe 4 or 3! And I'm already improving from all the fun and practice with your videos and a few other youtubers out there I hope other people out there who's still starting out are having fun

Poltergeist: Don't feel alone young brother. When I first started playing guitar 53 years ago, the F chord was hands down the most difficult finger placement (for me anyway) to master in the basic C, F & G chord progression. Hang in there pal, eventually you'll get it down smooth as a baby's bottom. Practice, practice, practice. Best wishes for ya.

mix it up? strum a bit, arpeggiate a bit, good for accenting the melodi/dramatic depths of thhe vocal melody, makes it fluid?

I noticed this as well, I find it easier to use 1, 2 and 3 but its much harder to transition, I believe the correct way is 2, 3 and 4 but its more convinient to use 1, 2 and 3. (I can spell convienent for the life of me jfc)

Pretty cool song to train some C F G Am chord transitions. :D I will use this mostly as an exercise since I still suck at guitar. I like having some melody and rhythm and not just switching chords. Thank you for the lovely video.

Learn also the classic way of the right hand. Difficult in the beginning, but opens a lot of possibilities, when you control it. It's the same way a flamenco guitarist holds his right hand. Bobby Krieger, guitarist of the Doors played flamenco, before he joined the Doors. Also very interesting for fingerpicking, without plectrum.

Even if you're strumming a well-tuned guitar *without* any finger on the frets it's kinda like a mistuned "G" but sometimes it is used as an interchord like in the 90's song "What's up" by "4 Non Blondes". Best wishes and "stay safe!" from Germany!

just keep working at it. try playing wagon wheel or another popular song in the key of G. It will help your little fingers get better at jumping those strings. (I have little fingers also)
