I shot this years ago when I was a kid and I'd always be out with the boys riding shot gun in the trucks on my days off from school. The most exciting part of the day was the trip to the tips. One of the tips I have visited heaps is the Hallam Road Tip which has been run by SITA/SUEZ now Veolia for years. There isn't much time left for Hallam due to it being nearly full and a lot of contracts that used to tip at Hallam have now diverted to the fairly new Cleanaway South East Melbourne Transfer Station (SEMTS) which opened in late 2017 or the Cleanaway Lysterfield Transfer Station. Only a few contracts go to Hallam for now. This particular day was in fact a public holiday and Werribee Tip was shut, so Monash Garbage had to tip off at Hallam.
