This is why you should record more trucks backing in and pulling out when stuff is on the floor because its fun to watch things getting crushed under the tires as well.

The landfill is probably off limits to the general public due to safety reasons , besides there really isn't much to see at a landfill besides some machines and soil.

I’m a garbage man. And sometimes it’s sad to see the landfill. Most of that stuff can be recycled. Most just don’t take the time to sort properly.

Super awesome. Lots of activity, never a dull moment. It's interesting to see how some trucks have a lighter route or something. Garbarino was pushing a brick, and wm was like just partially loaded. Thanks for the video. Sometime it would fun to see the 53' being towed out and covered. Watching one of the land fill channels, they have a really cool scaffold for un-tarping.

Yeah I noticed that Garbarino usually has massive loads! They must have some really large routes per driver. It makes for great content though! The trailers that are use have auto tarps. The Walsh driver just have to hook up the cable then press a switch! Pretty neat.

Question: why is he/she lowering the last axle of the truck at around 2:53? Do not get it as the other trucks donˋt neither…

So some of these trucks are programmed in such a way that they have to drop the tag axel in order to activate the dump controls . most of the resi side loaders have to drop the axel. Thanks for watching.

Great to see an outside view at 4:19 with the tug bringing in a new trailer and the trucks outside waiting. I did not really think of the tipping floor being raised off the ground, just thought the loading trailer was dug down into the ground for some reason but this makes a lot more sense; might be hard to pull a fully loaded trailer out of the ground.

That is a roll off truck. It’s used around the yard to move the roll off dumpsters.

That’s the tag axle. I’m guessing the driver had it down while he was driving up the ramp. When he puts the truck in reverse it automatically lifts so it was probably spinning because he had just put it in reverse.

It seems like burning the trash for electricity and filtering the smoke through acres of algae filters might work, but I am not a scientist so I don't know for sure if that would work.

Man I wish I could got a clip of what this place looked like the night before. The trash was piled up about over the barriers and almost out the bay doors. All that Christmas garbage. Plus we didn’t run on the Friday before Christmas due to weather and so the Friday after Christmas was ridiculous!

4:17: Is it normal for there to be terminal tractors in recycling plants?

I would rather work in a garden centre…..

If it is the same as the one I ran its like a fabric/rubber compound compacted really tight in between metal plates. We called it a sweeper because of the way it "swept" the trash.

On middle of the video bottle or something like that blast under wheels
