I think the idea is that the health and chargers aren't for emergencies. They are for replenishing supplies after an emergency. My head canon is that the health on your HUD is actually the current morphine/other health supplies available to the suit, rather than your actual health.

I have to admit, the beggining contains some of the most fluid animations, when he pushes the door and aims his pistol, it's pretty seamless. Maybe one day we can get that kind of dynamic reactions from first person pespectives through just gameplay. A man can dream

Resident Evil 7 has a pretty nice door animation, the character pushes the door with his left hand and its very seamless, really wish we will see more games with that level of attention to small detail like that
Just realized that the pin code thing is actually kinda smart from a non-emergency perspective. Makes logistics/incident reports easier by tying supply usage to a specific employee, and as for the health station, _while_ it's healing you, your suit could also transfer data to the health station itself about what happened, and forward the data to administration. (Then again, having a data connection to the suit would eliminate the need for a pin on the station, since it's not like someone else is likely to put on your suit and heal up, even then it's implied during startup that credentials are required, or are automatically detected) Maybe there's no data connection over that line, and it's more used to pair the suit and the station for a wireless data transfer, as well as serving as a safety interlock so employees not wearing hazard suits can't screw around with the charging/healing station? (nothing like blue/green mystery goop shooting out of a hose and needing to be cleaned up. Then again, Black Mesa seems like it takes OSHA compliance as more of an OSHA suggestion) Then again, this is just me trying to rationalize sci-fi logic. I mean _the suit charger pumps blue battery juice into your suit, wth is that? Is the suit powered offa some radioactive fluid or somethin'?_ (I mean, Black Mesa _sure does love_ their radioactive stuff) As for employees not wearing suits, and needing to use a first-aid station, maybe you can fill syringes off of it?

I laugh when he stumbles across the obstacles like an actual nerd

I once had a dream that the glowing blue liquid is a gell that thickens/hardens in reaction to kinetic energy, which fills spaces underneath the armor. Obviously that's not the case, but it would've been interesting if the suit's power didn't just give you magical protection somehow.
when Gordon falls does he sound like from inside a helmet? Nice touch.

It sure is! I paid 200USD for it because at the time I didn’t know how to rig an existing model. If you want it, we could trade assets/knowledge or something.... I’ve been thinking about putting it in the workshop, but I’m a little greedy and kinda wanted to monopolize on it for a little while. 😬😅 I would have asked for an IK rig for the hose, but that was like another 300 bucks so I just bit the bullet and manually animated it the hard way.
