Half-life 1 is just as good, the pacing and mood of the songs are matched

This song hits different when you're driving. I seriously get the urge to go off the side of the road into a nearby field and start swerving like I'm dodging bombs and rockets.

Half Life 2 is the best fps game ever. And Half Life 2 is also a top 5 best games ever regardless of genre. In fact i can't think of a better game. Only Mass Effect 2 and 3 comes close.

I used to do this level with a few binds that slowed down time so it was like i was directing an action movie.

I wish I could have a Gordon Freeman level of excitement in my life.

Something in this stuttering rhythm is so good for intense action scenes. Like in Sekiro ost some of the melodies don't have fluid and constant rhythm, but in heat of the fight you don't really notice it and you probably hear this more coherent. Because everything change by seconds so do your own rhythm of the scene. Nah, sounds like something from psychological bs, but i hope you get it
