My dad used to let me play Half Life when I was about 5/6 years old back in the day… I was too young to really understand how to progress past the opening area and when eventually figured it out I found it way too frightening to ever play… so I would just hang around in the opening area roleplaying as a scientist going about his day… 5 year old me would have loved this game…

I like to think that Gordon is generally a little bit of a trickster, but this day, he got possessed. The entity tried to keep it's cover by acting in the way it thought Gordon would, but as more time passed, it got more and more restless, going from mimicking his behaviour to being a parody of it. Eventually the entity just snapped, tried to escape through the vents, but when it realised that the vent covers were too strong, it popped a rocket launcher out of thin air and started killing everyone who looked at it funny.

That was added by the addon which changed the maps as well, I think the add-ons are called something like Black Mesa pre disaster

I had a dream about this where the resonance cascade never happened. Walllce breen and Caroline both renamed black mesa into blapeture Mesa. The cores, glados, and all the scientists of aperture science and black mesa started working together. Wallace and coroline becomes friends and built a statue of cave johnson. The combine or xen creatures never invaded their planet and they did other things instead. Chell was released from aperture and no longer a test subject. Gordon is married to Collette green and have kids of their own. Arne magnuson left blapeture Mesa to start a new life. Alyx vance is now a goddaughter to gordon and collete and hangs out with them.
