I use this drone reqularly when I need to take real-estate photos but too close to an airport. The throw-and go feature comes in handy for this because instead of putting the drone into position, you can just throw it where it needs to be, saving time and battery.

this is the one that I only need as a first drone.

Great review. I've been on the fence about whether or not this is the right drone for what I need (wich isn't much but is specific) all the other reviews I've seen were either unboxings or just basic flying around like a toy. Thank you for making a legit review.

I flew my tello outside my hotel room at the 4th floor that should be arround 30 meters high and i flew it actually very far away from me arround the buildings and when i was at like 40 meters away with even a windy condition i stoped to take a picture when i realize that the pic quality was low so with my drone in the sky at arround 40meters high and arround 40-50 meters away from me i switched the camera quality and the drone was there in the same spot where i left it😳 damn i love this toy

Good video.only thing (unless I missed something) is you mentioned cutting down charge times but I didn't see anything about it having watched the whole thing.... Did you do a separate video about that?

Charging with a higher amp charger cuts the charge time - he mentions it briefly towards the end of the video.

Fyi, the app has been updated and says to gently throw the drone within 5 seconds when using throw and go.

Throw and go worked for Dobby. Zerotech got so much stuff right where so many others failed since.

Very good video and instructions! A question that comes to my mind: Couldn't we just connect the XIAOMI extender to the phone with an OTG socket?

You probably could, but it would suck quite a lot of battery

I am a newbie when it comes to drones and I have no problem with the throwing it in the air to get it to fly. If you pay attention to the blades rotating you can do it all by yourself

Great review. My one question is setting the bit rate. Auto or set to rates shown? They also need to fix the slight jitter or jog in video. Over heating shut down while concerning IS a good safety feature. I live in Arizona and no probs while flying. FYI - set it on a small fan when having it on to update or leaving it idle.

That's on DJI not him DJI or ryze printed the directions wrong. if something happened to it he could easily take a picture of the directions and make them give him a new drone.. The dumbass here is DJI and ryze.. Nowhere in the manual says and grab and throw mode don't throw it near any cement only grass.. The manufacturer screwed up.

I bought this drone for $200 online but then when i was doing some research on the drone i realized i could've bought it for $99 and i couldn't cancel the order because it already arrived and i didn't want to return it because they came all the way from NSW to Queensland

The Breeze definitely is a GPS drone. You can get it with a bluetooth remote and it records via onboard storage.

Just got mine yesterday... First real drone. Love it so far... Took many pics and they didn't show up on my phone.... Only issue so far...

Tom McCarthy You need to manually save the photos/videos to your camera roll. You can do that in the app by pressing the button with the traingle on it.

Is hubsan x4 h216a a good drone?

It's fight mode in app instead of flight mode

Its fine and yet its not. I have an android tablet which can fly it but does not show a stream NIR photos or videos and both my Xiaomi phones do not show it's photos or videos. Hoiw can a quality product be that finicky? Any help out there? Plane mode doesn't solve it.

Uwe K You need to save the photos to your camera roll manually. You can do that from the app by pressing the button with the triangle on it. Nothing finicky here.

Its only needs two, I just put a couple more there for humour..........said in the most deadpan way ever. :D

I waiting for my tello

Hi there from Australia. I’ve watched a few of your videos and now very confused! I’m wanting to buy my hubby a drone with video capabilities but there are so many available and information that I just don’t understand. He has a jet ski & makes movies on go pro, and I thought a drone could be cool to video him from overhead. Obviously he will be moving, so I’m guessing that’s what the follow me function is for, but I don’t know about GPS, HD, AXis or all the other jargon. We just spent heaps on the GoPro so I don’t want to spend more then about AUD$150, and probably need two batteries, & return function, but what else should I be looking for? Do they all have that follow me? You don’t mention it, so I’m thinking not. Thank you in advance 😊

No. Most don’t have follow me. If you want to chase a jet ski you’ll need something fast. Unfortunately $200 won’t get what you want. The cheapest option is the Mavic Mini.

overheating because of vps sensor processing data and no airflow since it is parked. Good review. Good drone for the price.

The breeze is a better overall drone than the Dobby, but I like the portability of the Dobby as a selfie drone. I'd stay away from the S6. The Breeze is on sale at Walmart online. Heck of a deal goo.gl/tZx6iw

It’s a Chinese/English language translation issues.

Your telling everyone how hard to get the propeller guards off the drone it is easy to take it off but do not take them off the drone when turned on or pull the clips away and pull it took me a few seconds on I-Phone 7XS

I don't know. If it is a Bluetooth remote that is compatible with your phone then it is likely to work.

No cell data needed, just wifi from your phone or tablet. So yes, you can use it with a compatible tablet that has no cellular. Check dji Tello website for compatible phones and tablets.

I just got my Tello and in the life of me could not capture images and videos. I'm using Android. Found out that you have to give the Tello app permission to access your camera and location. The Tello has dropped a couple of times because I hit an object but it didn't break at all including the props, those prop guards is a must. I find it's not as stable in breezes compared to my Spark.

The only thing I don't get with these new type drones when it comes to the FLIP. Is that 20 $30 drones have been doing this for a while but they did it better than these new ways of doing it. In other words I have a cheap o drone a little bit bigger than this one probably twice at size By Syma that you press a button on the controller and then point the right joystick in any direction and it will flip in any direction. Makes the flips very quick and very sporty.. Why don't these new drones have that type of button on the controller it's much better and much more fun.. completely takes the fun out of it when you have to draw something on the screen or you have to hit a flip button in the app.. With it being on the controller you don't even have to look at it and you can flip in a split-second even when you're racing in One Direction or the other.. Graber's are how these new drones with cameras destroyed the flip...

Flipping is just a basic trick. I'm not sure it's super important in terms of buying a drone IMO.

Half Chrome No but I'm telling you the ones that have it on the controller how you can do it in a Split Second no matter which direction you're going in how fast you're going it makes it super fun especially if you're going to have a small cheap o drone... When it's done like this it's boring as hell... The whole point of the flip is it's spontaneous instance... If you can't do it like that there's just no point. I have a jjrc h47 that does flips but you have to do it through the software it's boring as hell when I want to actually have fun I use my stunt drone it's a blast....

Show me a 5 volt even charging block. All phone and tablet charging wall blocks are 5.1-5.2 volt. Running an inline test none I've used every goes beyond 5-5.1 volt a lot of them actually only give out 4.8 volts.

I like controllers...not to use my phone. How do you do that?

Good luck getting 10 minutes from a drone this size. We got just over 13 minutes. You'll be lucky to get 5 from your E010 or Hubsan H107.

I think it’s very cheap that they didn’t include a onboard VTR to record video, but with the quality that camera delivers, why would you?

Just got one today at WalMart for 74.00. (Clearance: August 2019.) Looked everywhere for extra batteries ... Best Buy, Target, etc. and there are no Tello batteries out there, at least in the LaCrosse WI area. Had to resort to Amazon.

Really anything more than a light breeze is not ideal.

The throw and fly option has no problem. You did hold the drone but you have to just put the drone on your hand and then just throw so stop saying the thing you don't know about the drone.

robert cobianchi you do know that with android you can just pair almost any bluetooth controller ? I fly my tello with a Playstation4 controller paired to a s5mini :)
