It's definitely a hard line to communicate to someone, be they friend or family. The way to explain that you need time alone to walk and think and work stuff out without making it sound or making that person/people feel like you're angry at them, or that you don't want to associate with them, or whatever else.

@@QHuman it makes me think of my dog that started walking in circles when he got old and he was scared because something was wrong with his mind and he would just go and go and go and we all loved him but he seemed so stressed, sometimes the hardest part is realizing that you can’t do anything on your own or you’ll keep going in circles.

The way they talk about seasonal depression and changing seasons is so refreshing. I feel like it’s just someone saying “it’s hard right now, but things will change, and we can still appreciate this in the moment”

i remember finding these guys after they released 3 because people were accusing them of copying twenty one pilots. now they’re releasing their second album and opening for twenty one pilots on tour. i feel like a proud parent

Their very very early songs were a lot like twenty one pilots, but with Now, Not Yet they really found their footing. It's been a cool journey!

Half alive literally makes me feel alive, not a single bad I've ever heard from them

Half alive is becoming a favorite band of mine again I stopped listening bc i was looking at Jon Bellion and AJR a lot more but recently there have been times where i've had feelings only half alive songs can communicate

@@Tkorinn AJR is also really good. Half Alive though, they have a distinct like flair to what they put out. Definitely agree that they put out songs that communicate feelings that no other band can really replicate. Like "Creature" is a song that empowers me like no other.

Boys this is lovely, however I think the audio has a mistake at the near beginning of the song. It’s completely normal on Spotify but the audio reverts back to an earlier part of the song and then goes back to where it was. May wanna re upload and change that!

I heard this the day it came out, the same day I had my first mental breakdown this year. 2 days later I've come to find out that it's most likely Seasonal Affective Disorder that's causing my yearly anxiety attacks, so the meaning to this song just became 10x more powerful (and it already was bringing me to tears from how relatable it was the first time I heard it). Listening to this song has helped me thus far, but thank you for all the music you've blessed us with 🙏

2:28 hit me so hard because same and i wasn't expecting it on the first listen to this absolute banger but then it just- fuck i tear up every time because its exactly how i feel with all the people i love and my fiance especially, knowing they love me but that they can't help me and all they can do is be there for me when i come back around

This song means a lot to me when i read the lyrics. It's more than just seasonal depression for me, it's about struggling to get my dreams and life goals off the ground. It's so hard to keep focus and not to lose hope that your best times are often fleeting but since you can't let your dream die, you come back around. I come away from the song wishing I simply had more time to not feel rushed, caught in a tornado, and trapped. That's why I love this band though. Songs like this one are sometimes what it take to get me to stop, slow down and think introspectively.

This is now one of my favorite songs, this album is absolutely amazing, already waiting for part 2
