No. No, my vigilance was not in vain. This time, I've got him. No longer will Kid Charlemagne dirty the airwaves with his drivel! He will see justice and I will be the one to deliver it! Mark my words, Kid Charlemagne, your fine will be astronomically high!"

True story. When I was a teen I bought an illegal CB amp at a yard sale. It only worked for CB's that you install in vehicles so I had to run the CB and amp using a car battery that I had to charge every day. But that damn AMP was so strong that it over powered all of the local TV's so that anyone watching any channel would hear my transmission... I lived in a large apartment complex. Needless to say, the "Channel Master" pissed off everyone nearby and so I had to stop using it. Good times!

He hated his dad, Vic, all his life for how the latter raised him. This is made worse when Craig found out what really happened with his mom after Malcolm shows him a photo of her in Vic's wallet. Isn't it so funny that the 5 foot 4 black guy named himself after a giant white king, yet is bitter and racist towards white people? 😂

"Fair warning sir, running away will add 80 dollars to your fine" I just love how Hal is treating the overly bureaucratic but necessary FCC like their the actual FBI

I used to watch this show as a kid and feel sorry for Malcolm and his brothers. Now that I watch this as an adult (and a father) I can relate to Hal and Lois.

I was lucky enough to catch this when it first came out and I was immediately hooked. There are hundreds of epic moments and the amazing chemistry between the cast really took this to the top. I remember an interview with Linwood Boomer who is basically Malcolm and he said if they didn't get the perfect Lois, they wouldn't do the show... Did they cast perfectly or what? I love Hals idiosyncrasies... His speed walking, his dance dance revolution, Kid Charlamagne., not going to work on Fridays for 15 years, his battle with the Mustang owner, love of particular pizza.... How absolutely unbelievably crazy in love with Lois he is, thats one of the most beautiful things in sitcom history. Hal even says that he has always known he loves Lois more. And no matter what, he finds her the most magical, beautiful, sexy and wonderful thing on earth even after all those years and kids. There is writing in this show on par with classic Simpsons. Only recently I was on a rewatch and the episode about the neighbours... One of them made stories about Malcolm being a peeping tom and Dewey is skipping singing this hilarious song about it... Its little things like that and for example in these clips, the way Hal gets paranoid and weirded out about his own radio show! Without a doubt this is one of the best shows, one of the best depictions of a family, one of the best written and best cast programmes ever. Oh and I love the skit where Hal and Lois wake up and Hal tells her about this dream he had about cooking meth and being a drug Kingpin... Pure class.
