If my budget was unlimited, I would scratch-build one of these, irrespective of it costing £100K and upwards. This and a Fairlady 2000 would be my regular runaround with a 510 wagon and MK1 Ford Escort.

Oh it would definitely be north of 100k more like 200 but they are very special things. A MK1 escort with a BDA would be an excellent ground up no budget build

They sure aren't, after quite some time contacting importers i finally got one to show me the one he had, its not in top shape but i think the full restoration will be worth it big time.

The KGC10 skyline is still a great car it doesn’t have to be the GTR but you’d likely still be looking at 50k for a replica with some nice parts on

Why would you put the fender bead join halfway round the fender? Looks terrible! Only a small detail but if this is supposed to be a top build...

Adam Smith it is an extremely valuable car with a ground up restoration so we couldn’t beat on it for those reasons. It was an honour to have the time with it to make the video
