Poor Chris! Adam is showing all the ways he can make him feel pain. Time for the jow! We also do something called jee see Sao in our wing chun that is supposed to be for ripping and tearing flesh. Anyone else do something similar in their wing chun?

This is great stuff! I have often wondered about these types of movements and their usage. I see these a lot in the Crane styles. Would these applications be the same?

hmm you guys may want a boom mic or a BT mic so it clarifies the talking. if not some sound absorption in the room.

Love the hakka stuff. Is there going to be a hakka part two on the full immersion program?

Possibly the hardest move to explain. A very rough explanation would be a double elbow (left and right side together) snapping backwards. But the position of your elbows move only one inch. So a one inch pull. If one inch punch is being as explosive in a short distance going forward, one inch pull is the same idea going backwards. Combined with sudden dropping into your core and sudden rooting into the ground...a different mechanic. Lolol. So to conclude my long explanation. It's not a pull. It's a sudden pull.

I'm curious because you mention pole standing slot, could you touch on that in one of your videos?

He covers it pretty often. Check out his videos from 2-3 months ago called "Fullness vs. Emptiness" and "The Refinement of Natural Instinct". I think one of those gets more into it, possibly both. My style also uses standing meditations, but they're very different, so it's interesting to see how he does it.

One of the very best defense techniques against punches and blows I know but followed by estraint not punching after. It has saved me from many attacks. Woody QGJM
