    I love the commentator at the beginning, "Finish in fourth at last year's World finals. What an awful position to -- OH MY WORD! Look at the start." Great job Yang!

    I read it from Korean news ( on web) , he said he wanted to build a house for his parents if he gets money from gold medal. FYI, his parents are living a temporary housing in a rural part in Korea. Great guy won.

    Either way, if it wasn't for that tiny step, that first vault would've been worth a 17.000!!!! THAT'S NUTS!!!!

    I think he deserved the 17.0 even with the step. Absolutely insane technique

    I still think this the most mind blown I’ve been by a vault I’ve witnessed. Li Xiaopeng’s Yurchenko 1/2, 2 1/2 is a close second. I’ve seen double twists and that’s hard enough. But a triple is inconceivable to pretty much anyone but him.

    Half the reason I watch this is to listen to the commentators lose their shit, and the other half is because I lose my shit just as much as they do.

    so proud of him, he came from a poor family, he saved his allowance from his training camp ( korean government doesn't have a big budget ) and send it to his parents. I am in owe,,, in tears...

    Wow that's incredible. Where did you get this information from?

  • @AliceWhattt
    @AliceWhattt11 жыл бұрын

    Where did you get that information? It's false. There isn't regional hate between the Korean provinces. Some regions are not as developed as others but that can be seen in many different countries, not just Korea. It's always hard to get acknowledged when trying to compete in the Olympics, especially for a sport that Koreans have never traditionally done.

    So that's 3 twists and 2 flips?

    As I am aware he is from one of the more hated regions, and it was even difficult for him to get acknowledged. There's a lot of regional hate in Korea, even though they're all Korean. Ironic, huh?
