This anime saved my life. Seeing ippo get up as many times he falls down , and turn the match around, it moved me. Inspirers me to keep working whenever i feel low

If i'm alive today is because of this anime. My life was a real hell some years ago, literally everything was trying to pull me down, I was always asking "why me?" I was really giving up... But then I started to watch hajime no ippo, and that question at the first episode "What does it mean to be strong? What does it mean? If I win, I'll find the answer" makes me want to know the answer. Every time I listen to this music, I want to cry, but not for sadness, it's because now I know the answer I WON. Thanks Ippo to be what I need in the perfect moment.

Sendoh vs Ippo was one of the best things that happened in Anime, along with this song. The build up was perfect, and I was on the edge of my seat during the match itself. It's just poetry in motion.

When I was in junior high, this animation inspired almost every teenaged boys. As an Asian, males were usually taught not crying. This anime tell me you can be strong, and also cry for something beautiful like never stop challenging.

Probably the most beautiful anime I've seen, glad I found it.. away from fantasy and science fiction like most of shonnens. That's what make it special. ❤

Whether we know Hajime no Ippo in manga or anime, it helped a lot of people to get motivated, be determined to achieve our goals, and aim for the stars. I'm still a high school student and I've lost focus and motivation with my academics because I got heartbroken for the first time, I ended up with bad grades during the last quarter but this anime really helped me to recover my mental. I can focus again on my studies and I recently started jogging 3 times a week and do bodyweight workouts.

One of the best Anime Opening songs.

I know I should have watched the show to know how it really feels to listen to this song. But I heard this two years back for the first time and it just brings tears like the most powerful tears that I’ve ever had - until this day it’s the same feeling. I will watch the show someday but shocking lemon has magic in this track and whenever I hear it I know the best is yet to come and I can deal with any challenges. It’s not about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving. When I hear this song, pain is just a friend to me

I feel like this op was just showing his burning passion about boxing and it was really cool. Like he does some bobbing and weaving while there’s flames in the background (sorry it’s been a while since I saw the op) and it’s like just representing his evolution, his growth. Not only that but then there’s the section where he is looking at something with serious expression and that hit me. It was like watching the quiet kid turn into a beast. Like watching a kid with a burning passion to a fighter with a blazing fighting spirit.
