I definitely have this too and has worsened after giving birth. I use matte eyeshadow but this looks like a promising strategy too... thanks for sharing!!!

I did the eyeshadow trick too postpartum! You can definitely use a combination of the two to blend the edges in :)

ive always had an M hairline since i was young (also east or SE asian). i saw these korean tutorials a few years ago and started doing it then. love the look! wish this was more a commonly used technique

I lost the hair in the middle where the hair line starts because I used to wear ponytail every day and there's like an "O" bold spot even now when I barely ever put the hair up. I improvised a bit but I can see that it's less visible now, I never thought of it untill I saw you doing it! Definitely worked for me but I have to curl the new bby hairs a bit

Would you pls share what the maintenance is like? Do you have to use product or flat iron it to get it to stay down? What’s it like if you just wash and wear your hair?

I'm a bridal hairstylist and my clientele are mostly Asian. 90% of my clients also have an M hairline - I'm pretty sure it's an Asian thing haha. I also have it too and will definitely be trying this haircut out on myself!

I'm white, no other races in my ancestry at all, and I have this hairline, so no, not an Asian thing.
