I’ve worn these for about 3 years when I lost all my hair from alopecia. The brows do go on shiny but that goes away after a few hours. You can also tap them with a bit of powder on your finger tip to take the shine off.

@@carlablue4611 Neat! The shine isn't really what I was talking about tho. She shaved her brows for being too thick, and then stuck those on and they were the same thickness, if not thicker.

And the eyebrows are not only ugly, they are also glued crooked... 😂

The girl waxing is her eyebrows off has not learned that sometimes they don't grow back. Take a look at people who followed the skinny eyebrows that were popular in the 90's (I think). Some never got them to grow back. Have a great weekend everyone! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I have plucked my eyebrows into a natural, cleaner shape for decades. I keep waiting for the stray hairs underneath to give up the ghost and stop coming back. They refuse. Same as the ones above my upper lip.

@@sarahrosen4985 It definitely doesn't happen to everyone. I pluck my eyebrows too. As I've gotten older some of them do grow back grey (so do the tails of both sides that I never plucked). I think a lot of it probably has to do with genetics.

​@@sallyfields2385ugh! I wish the ones I have to pluck would grow in grey. At least they would be less noticeable. But nooo, the grey ones grow double thick and stick straight out like the want to shake your hand very noticeably from the thickest part of my dark eyebrow. 🤪

I was a teen in the late 90s/early 2000s, and mine are the same. They've also resisted every lotion and potion I've used to try and regrow them 😂

I never did anything to my eyebrows when I was makeup obsessed in the 80s because Brook Sheild made fuller eyebrows the thing at that time. I would just pluck a few stay hairs but never on the brow. But at 59 now my brows are very thin without having done a thing to them back then. Now hair grows on my chin instead. Nature is just cruel like that lol

So much to unpack from this video! The girl with the horrible cut and balayage needs to go back to the salon and meet with the manager asap. The girl shaving her eyebrows is insane. One day they won’t grow back and she’ll be doing this when she in her 80’s and hating it. She could go to salon and get her eyebrows done to look good. The guy with the beautiful eyes and curly hair? so, a little testimonial since i love your advice- i DID get blue out of my 3B curly hair and go blonde by myself! I used 20vol and cream bleach, got pale minty green, and then toned the minty green with the wella pink t50 to balance it (a success), waited a few weeks, sectioned my hair in small sections so my boyfriend could do my roots (an amazing job!!) then covered it all with a mix of the wella 8g and 050 to balance the sunnyness. Now i've got a lovely even level 8 blonde and my curls feel great! Thank you so much for what you do and giving me so many ideas to save my formerly turquoise hair!

The Nutella foundation and 🍻 part.. 😂 i had to give up my FAVORITE mousse, Paul Mitchell's mousse with conditioner. It made my curls so pretty and strong and lasted for days. It smelled even better! Then i moved to the Ozarks and gnats would swarm my head like I was Pigpen from Charlie Brown. Always gnats. It was crazy and awful and the only recourse was to give it up. I miss you, Paul Mitchell's mousse with conditioner 😢

The $8 haircut boys were hilarious. I get $8 trims to remove my split ends but for an actual style I’d rather splurge.

6:23 That line at the tips, all wrong and different length.. exactly how I went out the last time I went to that salon, my hairdresser used to work at. I just found out she is returning in September.❤ I can't tell you the pain I was in. How is this girl not crying? They cut off 10cm MORE than I ask for. He was half way done, when he ask if the length was ok. And I was like 'what?' in my head. I trusted him, and I was so frozen from anxiety...as I went out I kept saying how great it feels. Then at home I finally got to look in the mirror. And I was just so furious. They must have seen this, the other stylsts, while I stood and paid and everything. Nobody said a word! Having it way way way too short, I couldn't just go an get it fixed. I did the really bad parts myself. But in the back...half the back in-between it was an inch shorter than the rest. After waiting for that inch to grow....I finally went to another salon. She stylist gave a sigh 😮 and was speechless. But she said, she could fix it. She ask why I didn't come right away, she probably could have gotten me fixed for free. I think they would have send the bill to the other salon.🫣 But yeah... I would have had to go even shorter. And she did a wonderful job that day. Since then I only visited a salon one last time and went to my aunt. Didn't even know she was doing hair. She did my cousin's hair all through their childhood.❤

My hairdresser charges $10 and she's fantastic. Price doesn't always dictate a poor job.

My aunt waxed her brows for years and years more. Now she's 70 and her eyebrows don't exist. Poor woman isn't good at drawing them on because she trembles and she's old school still using eyeliner instead of a brow pen, so you can imagine what that looks like. I offered to help. She says she's fine. I won't even start in about her lipstick 😑

For me Nutella only goes into my mouth 😋

Omg how do working hairdressers butcher haircuts so bad? Those $8 haircuts were horrendous! Even the first time I cut my son's hair (not a professional) it was way better than that! Now I've gotten pretty good at it and my son prefers I cut his hair. I can't believe the girl paid $200 but it looks like that! How do they have jobs when they make their clients look like they had an at home hair fail and how are they that bad after training?!

People take such risks with their hair. I can't do much with my hair, so I leave it as is - which is to keep it a at different lengths, the longest on top at maybe 3 inches and hope for the best. It's flat at the back, wavy on the side, kind of curly at the front, frizzy, fine. Nothing works to get rid of frizz, nothing works to make the curls consistent as they flop in a few hours, so I'm stuck using hair spray like an old lady. I gave up on hair dressers because they kept trying to cut it the same way all over, and that never works.
