Hairdresser Reacts To Bob Haircuts Gone Wrong

Nah, once she washes it and the heat styling comes out it'll go back to the way it was before. If she has to rely on heating tools to make it look good then that's just exhausting. I hope she went to a hair salon to make it look better in its natural state. No hate but I just think that's what happened, then again I have no info or haven't seen any follow ups.
Grandma used to cut our bangs. It was so terrifying. She would cut, then say, "I think I just need to even them up." More than once we had micro-bangs that wouldn't even lay down they were so short. I would never cut my own hair, too traumatic. I've had broken bones heal faster.

For Brad saying he’s never seen a hair texture where the top is straight and the bottom is wavy… it’s me. The first solid 4 inches of my hair from the root grows straight and then it gets wavier as it goes down, ending with a solid 2c hair texture 😭 volume is tragic for me
@0kieD0kiee
10 ай бұрын
Dude same, I think it’s because my hair naturally does have a wavy texture, but there SO MUCH OF IT that the weight of it pulls it straight and weighs itself down at my scalp and it’s only once it’s at the ends that it goes wavy
@aquarysa1791
10 ай бұрын
@@0kieD0kiee yep it's weight, my hair is the same, mine is straight - 2B at the top and gets to 34 - 3B on the legths. i even have some nearly straight pieces with no curl at the back, with some 3C coils next to it... trick is to not let it get too long / heavy and cut it dry to leave the coily strands longer and wavy one shorter

I'm very pro 'Go-to-the-salon' but I can't blame people for not wanting to spend $80 on a simple cut these days. But to anyone reading this if you're going to do it at home, GET PROPER SCISSORS. LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM BRAD or a different stylist of your choice. So many of these hair fails, cuts or bleaching are simply down to not following instructions and trying to wing it. Be a little patient with it. If it takes my stylist 45 mins to an hour to cut my hair, it shouldn't take me 5 minutes. I had to cut my hair during the pandemic and I took about three sessions. First session I did a one inch trim to practice that way if I messed up I had still a lot of length to work with. Then I cut a few more inches, wait to see if I liked the length and then the last session did the finessing with the layers etc.

I’ve been cutting my own bob for a year and a half and it can be the most nerve wracking thing out there. I only do it myself because I have issues going to a salon.

Your comments were not mean they were honest. You're such a good soul dear Brad. Much of love from Zurich, Switzerland. 😘
I went from hair down to my lower back to a jawline bob, and I think my stylist was more worried than I was. Since my hair grows so fast (like 1/3 to 5/8 an in a week, or 8mm to 15mm a week), I was just fine with it. Downside to hair that grows so fast is that my bob grows out in three weeks or so. But after chopping off 20 inches or almost 51cm, it was so needed.

MOM COME HERE BRAD UPLOADED
If only I was following Brad back in 2019 when I attempted an at-home hair dye using Splat's shade of blue. The color did take, but it was also getting EVERYWHERE that my hair touched: my clothes, pillow sheets, and even the wall. Sooo I put my hair in pigtails and let my husband cut it off before we shaved it down. Honestly I've had my hair almost shoulder-length since then but I'm sold on short hair, especially in the summer. Haircut meltdowns can work out if you're brave enough!
I cut my own bobs so I need more of these. For the back I try to gradient with a clippers for the under part, and then that is covered by the upper part anyway because it's longer, and I cut that with pony tails. The back is not great, but it's OK and it's the length I want, which hairdressers rarely did and I don't know why
Ooo I love Brad’s outfit! Another great look!
