What motion are you using with the clipper? I find it’s hard to control my guidelines when I’m using a c motion

Quick question I get a low drop fade and have a 8 on the top. I want to know what guard do I use to cut the bulk? I use classic 76 clippers I start the fade with a 1a also because I want to see the C line when I shape up.

I had that problem too what helped me is I learned to Know the hair levels by just looking at it; for instance i can see a level 3 guard length, a level two guard length and a 1.5 guard length with intuitive vision. Plus you already know once you lock in that # 3 guard at the parietal ridge you already know the # 2 guard is right underneath that; the #1.5 guard Length is easy to read also because it almost looks like a #1 guard length.

That was clean.

Hey Bossio, need some help. I got the Rose Gold Fx after watching you and 360jeezys videos. When I zero gap it with the stock blades or even switching it to the senior blades it starts to rattle alot with the gaurds on, either open or closed. Was wondering how you set up yours to work so well?

The blades might be shifted to far to the right or left , if that’s the case you have to center the moving blade

Prob 30 min thats the usual time for a pro barber. But since hes not in a shop with clients might take a little longer. Gotta make it perfect for the vid!

Yoooo wat up Bossio? Please help. I see you used the Wahl with the Masters blade on it. Is it me or does the blade NOT open as wide as it should. I bought the philthy Bracket, I put it on but it don’t open as wide as it should. I don’t think it even opens as wide as the original Wahl blade does. It 0 gaps great but it only opens about halfway down and I feel it throws off my whole blending process, cuz I feel the open position is as important as the closed position. For right now I put the Wahl blades back on cuz i don’t kno if there’s something wrong or that’s just the way it is and I’m not diggin it. 🤷🏽‍♂️😏

Bossio you never tried to go straight up with the half guard or a one guard into a clipper over comb with a 1 guard to get the fade up to a 1 and a half to 2 in length? I think you now have that ability without having to work through all the guards you use for your system. I know you can try it for a video and if you need to use the 1 and 1½ guard or the 2 or 3. Male hairdressers back in the day refused to use clippers and used scissor over comb to get the skin fade. I'd love to see ypu doing that or using the prison razor over comb to get a skin fade please give it a go Chris you are Boss.
