Help! I bought a lace wig but it came too dark. I want to do a balayage but the hair is 5A grade Brazilian light yaki. Will it be able to handle bleaching? I just want it lighter because the dark hair makes me look like a damn witch. I don't care if it doesn't come out with blonde highlights, just as long as it lightens the wig and doesn't make it look orange.

Hey, so you don't really know how the hair is going to take until you try. You may be buying hair that says "Virgin Brazilian" or what ever the case may be, but you will only find out once you put bleach on the hair. For instance I was told the hair that I was colour correcting in the video was all human hair, I only found out the hair was a mix of synthetic blend because when I put lightener on it some of the hair came out uneven and even melted!! So you only really find out when you try it for yourself or have had previous experience with that type of hair.

Ok I'm going to try. Anything is better than that dark hair. I know it's all human hair because I paid a lot of money for that lace wig.
