Haines Hunter v146 boat restoration/refit
Just picked up this Haines hunter v146c, stoked!!
I will be doing a tidy up of this awesome little half cabin, the bones of this hull are good, transom stringer and floor all seem solid though the boat definitely needs attention in areas. Follow and learn as I do, putting some time and effort into this rig, to transform it into a little fishing machine

I had a Haines Hunter 445c years ago. I'm in NZ, but it was one brought out from Australia. Mine was pretty tidy by comparison and I had a Mercury 50hp on it which pushed it along nicely. I eventually sold it cos I needed a bigger boat and mine always took heaps of water and I could never find the source. The underside was immaculate, so it didn't make sense. Having experience with boats these days, I'd say water was getting in on a transom engine mount or at the bow sprit. great boats, if they dont leak ;) Looking fwd to seeing next vid

Ahaha yeah mate mines leaks abit and I haven’t found the source, possible one of my bungs is abit out if shape, there great little boat love having a small cabin area to keep things dry ish Cheers for the comment Looking for a v17 next
