How you aren't more famous blows my mind you're the epitome of good country woman singing

I love working at the bar in this small one stop light town. We have all the old men (most in their 60s-90s) and I love hearing all their stories about how they grew up here and their fathers father and mama stories.

This song touches me from a different perspective. I'm almost 50 and just moved from California to a small town in Alabama. I've met a lot of people who grew up here and have heard their small town stories and it makes me jealous sometimes because I didn't have that. I think the country life is more my speed than the suburbs of a big city which is where I was raised. But hey...I'm here now and trying to experience it with the time I have left.
