Your comments about giving paintings as gifts being presumptuous, is spot on. I love using the concertina books and recently bought the tiny Hahnemühle, ('Harnermoeler'), one you show here. I'm thinking this size would be perfect as a gift 👍

Great review! I have had a few Hahnemühle sketchbooks and they are great when you want a sketchbook that does the job, but isn't so good that you'll never use it because you get 'starting sketchbook anxiety'. Also liked seeing pictures you've featured on your instagram challenges 😀
