Band BIO:
Hagane is a five-piece all girl power metal band from Tokyo, Japan that was formed in June 23rd, 2018. Their current line up consist of. Uyu on vocals, Sakura on guitar, Mayto on guitar Sayaka on bass, and Kanako on the drums. Hagane was formed after Sakura looked for others to form a band on June 23, 2018. Initially, the band started as a foursome (Sakura, Mayto, Kanako, and Chiemi on vocals) until bassist Sakaya was found. After Chiemi left in Mach 2019, the band was on hold for a while until it restarted with new vocalist Uyu in November 2019.
FUN FACTS about band:
- The band name (鋼, steel) refers to the quality of becoming stronger and harder when hit by a sword, just like the band seeks to become better over time and grow to become the best Hagane band possible
- The music video for “Wintry Sky” took place in February, when it was very cold, but cup noodles kept everybody warm
- Band members enjoy playing music, games, anime, cartoons, TV, movies, social networks, and friends. They enjoy interacting with fans online and appreciate the support of the fans very much.

They really improved a lot since the last song I heard, imo. Also that little laugh at the end was soo good. Loved that.

Hey guys, glad to see the reaction to these girls. This song has an industrial feel to me compared to their earlier stuff. I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on it and glad you liked it. I would be remiss if I did not mention these girls got a label and have their first full CD coming out in 2022. Thanks and have a great one!

Absolutely, that's a good point we forgot to mention.
Hagane has been one of my absolute favorites since i first saw them ! this is a bit different to their other songs but it absolutely works! and Sakura Yoshida is so underappreciated ! honestly shes one of the best of the female guitarists ive heard , and in this song Mayto really got to shine as well so i was really happy for that ! again Kanako is an awesome drummer ! Bass is solid and on point ! and Uyu just has such a beautiful voice....i prefer to just hear her clean vocals but again the filter totally works for the song ! i love Hagane ..what can i say !!!

Mayto and Sakura are definitely as skilled as any other dual lead out there and like you said Hagane will only get better from here. The good news is they do their own one mans so they should be able to keep going for awhile yet and actually realize their potential.

Hagane have come out firing with this one its a good one . Eric just wants to rock out to a sick song the looks are priceless . Alan is going to get knocked out one day lol and we have a new guitar team on the block, can not help but think if they went 7 string there would be more low end punch it is a little bright .

Went looking for this band after watching Sakura in the Naon Yaon 2019 guitar jam. Sakura and Uyu have some Babymetal covers that are very good. Sakura Yoshida is playing her signature guitar and she has her own YT channel well worth checking out. She can Really shred!!

Just when you think the song should be done, there is a whole other half to go. They really stretch their legs on this one. They could rival Lovebites someday soon, I think. Uyu vocals are so dynamic and have so much feeling.
