    - There are various types of songs on the album, some of them are heavy mixed music featuring rap, while "Sunrise Miso Soup," "Sentimental Heroine," and "Invisible Wall" have a good hook with a hardcore-like running part. Is "speed" an important element for you? - Matsuri:Yes. I don't think too many songs are too fast, but most of the songs have a tempo (BPM) of 160 to 200. Maybe it is because I was a punk fan, but I wanted to create songs with a line that would raise everyone's spirits... If you look up the tempo of hit songs in this genre and the tempo that people find comfortable when listening to them while running, you will find many articles about that kind of music. I make songs while researching such things and thinking that it would be nice to have a song with a BPM of over 200. - When writing songs, are you more of a calculating type of music maker rather than a sensual type? - Matsuri: Yeah, I think that might be the case now. At the very beginning, I could only make songs with my senses, but from around the time of "Otome Reform" onward, I started to think a lot.

You guys were talking about what a Band-Maid/The Warning collaboration would sound like and if they would all play on the song. It can be done. Just listen to Battle Scar by Max Webster. FYI...Rush is the other band. Cheers!

I always love your reactions. I hope you stay strong in your own battle with the demons. Ren struggles with his mental state, but has said he is actually very happy with life now. His physical ailments persist, and he would like nothing so much as to recover from his autoimmune conditions. It is so admirable that he does what he can to raise awareness of these illnesses. That’s why this Vera Hall sample meant so much to him, and has been consistently present in his repertoire.

Don't ever compare your pain to someone else's. To you, the addiction was as bad as lyme's was for Ren, or my 5 failed spine surgeries were to me. Pain is always relevant. Also, as an addict myself. That is also a disease. We may have the ability to take or not take, that 1st drink or pill or shot, but everything after this is a culmination of the disease process. ❤ Great reaction ❤ Thank you and hang in there ❣️

I remember also Saki stopping the LA Whiskey A Go Go show in between songs and complaining to the fans at the show for not be crazy enough for her although the venue rules wouldn't allow moshing or crowd surfing. The fans were left confused like "what are we supposed to do, we don't want to be kicked out."

I don’t feel like Mao is appreciated enough for his contribution to the songwriting of Lovebites. Asami as well, because she helped with the composition of some of the better songs like Judgement Day, Dissonance, A Frozen Serenade, and Paranoia. It seems to me like fans primarily mention Miyako and Miho, yet Asami is involved with more of the better songs when compared to Miho (my opinion). Also Mao (at times Miyako) helped with the composition of everything Miho did. So I don’t relate. 🤷‍♂️

@@Dicodec No problem. Out of the albums Judgement Day, Electric Pentagram, and Clockwork Immortality, my favorites that Asami had a composition-hand in are: Judgememt Day, Dissonance, A Frozen Serenade, Epilogue. For comparison, my favorites from those albums that Miyako made are: Soldier Stands Solitarily (just one song from Miyako, although it is very high up there). For Miho, zero songs from those albums (obviously nothing from the Judgement Day album). To me, Asami (working with Mao) has a hand in most of the better written stuff. She is also writing a lot of the lyrics as well. Personally, I even want more from an Asami and Mao combination than I want from Miyako, although I like Miyako’s songs (especially Solider Stands Solitarily) much more than Miho ones.

Sending love. ❤ You always help me hear new things in Ren's songs. You're doing so well on your own journey, too. I know that accountability is important, but please be kind to yourself. Addiction and the problems that follow isn't any less worthy for being "self inflicted". You are as deserving of love, support, and empathy as someone with a chronic illness that came out of the blue. (I've been ill every day for over 25 years. It's taken almost everything from me. But you know better than most people how it feels to try and keep a gentle heart in a hard world.) Your struggles are as valid as mine, and Ren's. And you deserve your recovery just like he does. I hope the VA doctor is the key to helping things improve.

Kai (who filmed the acoustic) put a BTS on Patreon of the acoustic filming, and Ren had to hold the mic stand steady with his feet as they couldn't get it wedged in, and had a laptop in the footwell too.

This album is why I didn’t take long to fall in love with LIBAD. From a musical standpoint, The Stage as a whole really feels similar to LIBAD, and even thematically, I think they’re slightly similar in their kinda existentialism

Ridiculous overthink going on here. Nothing weird about finding a micro second screen shot of someone who’s wearing braces changing expression. And why does everyone say, about Saki leaving, that “obviously..” this or that? We don’t really KNOW why she left. Anyway, she’s gone. I like the new sound so far. More “space” now in the sound. Hazuki and Hara cut through much more. We’ll see how they do. It’ll be mostly a matter of what new material they come up with. Anyway, I continue to think they’re fantastic, am pulling for them, and can’t wait to see what’s next,

As long as the giant disco ball doesn't summon any naked people, I don't think it's a Gantz reference. Even though I thought of it aswell when I saw the disco ball for the first time. I don't know how no reactor questions or says something to the "everybody" growls. She's clearly in the picture, alone, and forming the word with her mouth, twice. It also sounds completely different then Kevin's growl immediately after. It's also a big no-go for Idols to mouth along when another member is singing, but it's probably not relevant in this kind of setting. I think if they give Momoko solo time for screams, they should also give Moa more solo lines to sing, but that's something I've been saying for 4+ years now ;)

Ramble away. You're very passionate and much more articulate than you give yourself credit for. It takes so much strength to face your demons, and alcohol is a bitch. As someone who has major brain damage I totally relate to your awe at how he copes. When I found Ren I found inspiration, and I've worked hard and my mind has kept healing and neurogenesis is going strong. When doctors told me I had hit a plateau in my recovery I refused to believe it, and Ren inspires me to continue to make breakthroughs. Keep the faith. Thanks for the fantastic reaction!
