Great job having guests like hafsa on. Not only does this conversation bring awareness of mediation it also highlights how the increase of divorce rates in the southeastern community needs to look on supporting services to work through these challenges. Would like to hear more from this guest!

Great conversation, as a pre marital coach I find it so hard to get people to understand how important it is to undertake some coaching before splashing out on a huge wedding- firstly are you compatible, you need to create a mindset of teamwork between spouses The rate of divorce is so high that it only makes sense to lay some foundations and agreements if things go wrong- this is an easier conversation to have with an outsider who knows the challenges of marriages

This is a great topic to discuss Thank You brother for bringing sister Hafsa very interesting to know and gain a lot of knowledge. Divorce and family break down is very high in our Muslim community and society as whole .Divorce can trigger from various forms of reasons for example Domestic violence/ abuse and 3rd party interference. Shahina Chowdhury women’s voice has been campaigning for years and to establish a one stop hub , prevention is better than cure we all myself and other people women and men are supporting sister Shahina Chowdhury. Please support 🙏 this campaign for the sake of saving lives of the victims and silence sufferers behind closed doors .

Her opinions on feminism (and how that's changed overtime) can Muslim women also be feminists? What is feminism. How has the feminism movement affected masculinity in men? Has that movement resulted in men becoming Les masculine, hardworking etc. all the things she mentioned about men, could it be due to this?

@@kazishafiqur thanks for your response Bhai. I always listen to your new releases. In the Bengali culture, since the female in-laws play an influencing role to the husband, I think you are in the right footing if you get on with them from the start. He will be happy about it. The unfortunate reality is even this day and age, these sisters give a hard time to the Bhabee, especially when she is a good submissive religious person. Allah swt knows best and He is is our protection.

People with special need kids tend to divorce quicker as out of the two partners one partner becomes very consumed with the kids & the other parent just clocks out. They feel we are selfish as we don't prioritise them as we used to before the children. Although we can, if we really really wanted to prioritise them, we just don't want to because we build resent towards them as we see how less they contribute towards the need to our children. A slacking partner and business partners causes huge issues, but the perpetrator doesn't see their shortcomings. For example I have 3 special need kids & I care to them 24/7, do all DIY works, food shopping, food prep, roughly 95% of the role as parent role, the other 5% my eldest helps me. My other half expects me to put my kids to bed & be ready for him, I tried before but now I don't want to as I really hate him, we've had mediation but he will be on help mode a week max then back to being a roommate. If I want help & voice my issues he will claim kids are possessed because apparently I am possessed, my signs of being of possessed is because I don't appreciate I have a husband as apparently so many are divorced & just want a husband, my job role is very heavy & the last thing i need is to worry or manage a grown ass adult. He will shout & beat my autistic kids as he claims he needs to gain some authority via threat or they will grow up & be violent towards him. They don't like him as when he interacts, it's always telling them off. Never plays with them, I would hand like a bubble blower right in his hand so the kids warm towards him but he will refuse as he says they will get use to needing him to play like this. Him & his family are known as a very islamic family, but just get 2 sentences from people who are married into the family. He is cousin to the mp lutfur rahman, even he doesn't know the affairs that goes on in this family. They are master minds in fooling the mass.
