Amici della musica quale onore Handel con i suoi concerti grossi tuttavia lontani dal genere italiano dove si respirano tutti gli ingredienti per cui i compositori stranieri amavano così tanto venire in Italia e conoscere la cultura musicale italiana compresi i colleghi .per poi prendere spunti per i propri lavori .Ritornando ai concerti grossi Handel ha saputo conquistare con i suoi capolavori tra concerti ,compresi quelli per organo , gli oratori poi con i suoi cori mi tolgo tanto di cappello , di tutto l'oratorio prediligo i cori il resto così così .buon ascolto

Hace mucho tiempo que todo un video no me ocasionaba un entusiasmo así. Yo soy un Bachiano absoluto; pero aquí Haendel no tiene nada de qué avergonzarse. Todo lo contrario. Estas obras elegidas tienen un nivel de calidad sublime y homogéneo. La grabación es perfecta y la orquesta, sobrehumana. There is one concerto grosso but many concerti grossi. (grosso is pronounced correctly ‘gross-oh’, not ‘grow-so’).

Fk haven’t listened to this in a while. I am taken aback at its exquisite elegance and beauty.

Presumably you refer to Lulli as Italian rather than French (just to be consistent). It’s Handel and Lully, not Haendel and Lulli.

Hi Maestro, I hope you don't mind but I made a video copy on my cellphone of just the section from 18.10 to 21.32. A good friend's companion passed away two weeks ago quietly in her sleep. He wanted me to send a video to him as a remembrance of her. I was blank, but inspiration, this Concerto was playing coincidently. I sent him that short clip of this piece with a few well chosen words as a farewell and a celebration of her life. Fly, fly away Matty. RIP.
