I love this boy so much, he's the whole package , a main dancer material, heavenly vocals , a great sense of humour, the most competitive person ever , he's great at hosting, making people comfortable, supporting his bandmates , being caring and making sure to give everyone compliments to make them confident about themselves. A literal sunshine . Moreover he's so freaking smart it literally amazes me every time there's nothing he cannot do.

9:40 I'm sure you probably already got the answer but the reason why Chenle wasn't in the Mickey Mouse Club show was because he wasn't even a trainee at the time. That show aired when various NCT members were still trainees and part of SM's trainee group they called "SM Rookies" which was basically a select handful of trainees the company chose to reveal. And those trainees would take part in shows, perform at events, post on social media updates etc. Most of NCT members were part of SM Rookies at some point. Like I mentioned earlier, Chenle wasn't on Mickey Mouse Club because he wasn't a trainee at the time, he joined SM and was almost immediately added to NCT Dream's line up. Renjun also wasn't part of SM Rookies so even though he was an SM trainee at the time, he wasn't on that show. Sungchan and Shotaro are the other NCT members to not be part of SM Rookies, but that's likely because SM seems to have discontinued the SM Rookies project/system since they haven't revealed any new "rookies" since 2018 (which was YangYang, XiaoJun, Hendery) and the last known SM Rookie, NingNing, debuted with aespa. Edit: I stand corrected, apparently SM just announced 3 new SM Rookies, so it seems like their trainee group is still ongoing lol
