The CombiCut system offers a unique combination of machine and robot.
This system is used for plasma cutting* in 3D with assistance from a robot arm.
The CombiCut comes with a standard Plasma and/or Oxy-fuel gantry cutting table. On the gantry, an axis can be equipped with a robot and/or a drilling unit. Any combination Plasma, oxy-fuel, drilling unit and Robot cutting is possible.
CombiCut workpieces can be used in several industries:
-Steel construction
-Offshore
-Shipbuilding industry
-Machine -and crane construction
Road and water construction
-Special 3D-pieces
Specific CombiCut operations :
1) Classic plasma cutting: Flat plate
In this case the CombiCut system is used for classic cutting of a plate, i.e. positioning in X/Y and cutting torch perpendicular to the plate. All functions for the classic plasma cutting remain possible.
2) Expansion classic plasma cutting: Flat plate
-Cut height adjusting by robot
-Bevel cutting
-Fixed bevel in different directions
-Fixed bevel along curve
3) Expansion classic plasma cutting: Flat plate
-Variable bevel
-Cutting "V-bevel"
-Cutting "K-bevel"
4) Expansion classic plasma cutting : flat plate Cutoff (straight or beveled) with welding cutout
-For rectangular tube
-For round tube
-For conical shape
5) Expansion classic plasma cutting : L-, T- & I-profiles
-Cutting holes into planes without repositioning
-Cutoff/shorten with a specific bevel & adaptations
-Cut between several profiles
-Marking & text on all planes
6) Expansion classic plasma cutting : Round and rectangular tubes
-Cutting holes in random shape (straight or beveled)
-Cutoff other tube
-Marking & text on al planes
-Shorten according to special shape
-Fitting for round/square tubes
Special possibilities, the robot as plasma cutter can be used optional in other arrangements.
Optional : Rotator
The tube or profile lies stationary and the robot moves on a track to reach all the positions.
Software :
The graphical software is used to prepare the production and to generate the final program.
The use-friendly software makes sure that the manipulation is easy and quick.

Nesting :
Possible to nest all tubes and profiles:
- No matter what shape
- With cuttings, holes, chamfer, ...
The goal of nesting : to get all the workpieces out of as short possible tube/profile.
