Hacking USBs 🔥 and other hardware with MG (Creator of Hak5 OMG cable)

Ғылым және технология

Learning how to hack hardware with MG - the creator of the OMG cable. This isn't easy - especially when you scale production - but very interesting.
Disclosure: This video is NOT sponsored by Hak5. I just like this stuff :) MG did however send me one OMG cable for testing, but I have purchased the rest of the products myself. Please note that if you buy Hak5 products using the link below I will get an affiliate fee.

David just posting this here because it's your newest video so perhaps most likely way for you to see this? I had a genius idea! You should do a 7 part series on the 7 stagesof a pentest engagement and showcase each step! I'm yet to see anyone big names do this and I think you would make a super high quality series! Please consider it and maybe reply to this if you have any input on the idea! Ps huge long time- fan here, thank you for everything that you do :)

-Great content and interview Professor David. -I had to program devices for almost 10 years for the uses that these Hack5 equipment make nowadays. -With the cheaper and increasing power of ARM devices and micro-controllers, it's getting easier and easier to make more powerful devices for physical invasion. -The other day seeing the new KVM kits for the Rapberrys a lot of ideas came up. -Thanks for the knowledge and Hack5 for the fun devices....!!

So basically this guy created the OG Cable while barely trying to and on the side of his other work. That means a much more dangerous / powerful cable could've been released to the general public at this affordable price instead of the $20,000 ones the government has if he had actually tried and put more effort into it. Now you can't even borrow someone's charger or any of that
