Thank you! Mr Robot is my all time favorite show I still watch! It's just one of those shows at the end of each one I caught myself exhaling! Pretty cool how that one part can be possibly duplicated! What a great interview between you and OTW! Both of you kept it seamless and I cant believe I was able to follow along! I look foward to more like that! That aside, I loved that smile of yours in reaction to what he said at 22:03mark! Priceless! 😆🕊⚘

I had a similar discussion on one of the HAK5 channel videos about setting up a battery powered device with "free wifi" at some popular places i.e. fast food outlets, as customers are always just connecting without much in the way of self security. With correct configuration it could act like a man in the middle attack by using the vendors wifi to connect with.

Fun fact, GSM networks did not support mutual authentication between UEs and network. Once the uplink authentication is done, the AuC would simply dump all authentication vectors (RAND, CI, CK, SRES). Nobody anticipated that someone would actually set-up a rogue GSM network to intercept IMSI traffic. Now, it is just a relic of the past. From UMTS onwards, network needs mutual authentication, where network authenticates the UE, and UE authenticates the network. 5G has now insane level of NAS security.

I've learned a lot from him & he always points me into new directions to research & experiment with. As for suggestions for future sessions, I'd like to see more projects using Raspberry Pi (preferably Pi 5 8GBs ) mated to an RTL-SDR v4. Particularly something more 'stealthy' than just the videos already posted on using the dongle on Pis or the new Android version of SDR Sharp from AirSpy or SDR++. I'm particularly interested in what can be done if you are running Kali on the Pi. Some hack-oriented projects would be interesting IMHO.

i liked the presentation with OTW and subject fresh and stimulating. With USB 3.0 over 2.0/1.1... There isn't any true loss of performance given the data transfer rate is significantly less and there isn't the conflict with block storage devices which are defined as default for USB 3.0... Whereas USB 1.1/2.0 could be anything HID, Serial or Bus Power. The Full Duplex is cool but I consider additional capability but added complexity and latencies. Very cool that LimeSDR platform is used in development. I think it would be interesting to test and observe the threshholds involved between a femtocell and handset with regards to distance and time.

How can you remove something like this or locate it if it's being done to you? No matter where I go, or what I do, if I move, get a new cell, it is connecting to EVERYTHING I own for years.... I am so tired of not being able to have my own life... Ty, for all your videos. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING TEACHERS!

A lot of people failed at what you accomplished, simply because they were busy finding problems while you were busy finding solutions *brian hacks online* . Every time you do a good job, you polish yourself one more time. Shine on mate, well done. Team Alex

Question? Is there away to hack a wifi light to get information about who has actually access it through their network. I had someone do this to me and would like to see if there was any evidence left behind. Thanks. Love your channel.

you can do this without an extender. The extender is the easy way to get caught.

I wonder if it's possible to have 2 of these to allow end-to-end conversion without a network provider.
