while on topic of turning down the power of the wifi ap, you also prevent overlaps if u perhaps are using a few aps and not just one.

I wonder how you would break a WPA2 network within hours. You capture the handshake after your deauth attack and then you apply brute force worldist attack ? That can take months if your password is not Internet or password. As soon as I make the password Interne#t it would take a long long time if you could ever succeed. Am I missing something ? There is no other method I know of that can be used to hack a WPA2 network other than the Evil Twin AP attack and making the user give you the password unwillingly. Or is it ?

I agree it’s more challenging and not for the script kiddie, it was meant more on the WEP.

The best and fastest way is to Crack the hash offline with a set of gpus. The methods are the same. Dictionary attack or hybrid. If you don't own a rack with gpus rent some gpu service o line and try to Crack tour hash file. Much faster ...if you are lucky 😊
