U gotta be able to do both in person n in text but usually a person that’s boring in text will do the same in person but most likely that’s because people don’t know what to say. While Ed provided some good tips, don't respond right away(unless if it's a dire situation) and do something else. This will establish that you have a life and you won't come off as needy(some girls do think that). Plus you'll have a higher chance of finding out if she's interested cause if you're lucky enough, she'll double text you. Besides girls do play that game a lot, unfortunately, where they will purposely leave you on read sometimes or on delivered because they like the chase you give them.
