Great review! Loved it when you shared your story about your grandfather and the times in Greece. My grandfather was also greek! Tried Hacivat for awhile ago, and now I happen to have the full bottle. It's an amazing fragrance!

I have 3 fragrances from Nishane (Hacivat, Ani, and Zenne) and I love them all but I feel Zenne leans more towards the feminine side. This is a great house and encourage all of you at least to try it.

Great review Steven! I'm in love with this one also! The scent profile is addicting for sure! Much different than Aventus in my opinion. It's in my top three from the brand. Love Ani and Ambra Calabria as well. Just received a decant of Fan your flames. So far I'm having a hard time getting past the ashy smoke which is pretty dominant in that one but I'm gonna give it a few more wearings and see if it grows on me.

Just viewed the website for fragrance USA. Noir De Noir from Tom Ford. I remember your review for that fragrance and I recall saying to myself I’d like to get that sometime. Weather is getting ready to turn a little colder so that sounds like a perfect fragrance for the cool and cold nights. As always great review Steven.

I'd probably pick this Hacivat on Fragranceusa. I'm a sucker for nostalgia and really enjoyed your childhood story and personal connection you have to this fragrance. Plus, it just sounds like a great scent.

The dry down is so nice, I got a vibe like I'm walking in to a turkish sauna with a pineapple hanging near the hot stones.

I love several by Nishane including Ani, fan your flames, wulong cha, and musiqua oud, but this one is too much like sour pineapple on me. Glad you like it and that it has additional meaning.

We're heading into very hot summers down here and with the whole mask thing I would need a freshie with strong proyection. Not sure which of the 3 has the best proyection but would have to go with Elysium By Roja, Creed Aventus or Nishane Hacivat (your pick). For winter hands down Tom Ford Ombre Leather which I'm addicted to and would love to try Initio Oud for Greatness.

I just got a bottle, unopened, from 2017 and from what I thought was a reputable discounter. This smells nothing like you and everybody seems to describe. Is it possible its age damaged because it's pretty bad and I plan on reaching out with this online store

I just got a bottle of hacivat it's not as loud or beastmode as I expected. Did any reformulations happen? Or do I let it sit to macerate?

Really love this review and the story you told! I have Hacivat for like last 8-9 months, one of my absolute favourite fragrance! But it last on my skin for like 12+ hours way more than seven hours for sure! Not sure it got reformulated or not!!

All you have to do is let the fresh batch sit for about 5 months and you will be good 👍

Strange, I wore hacivat on my friend's wedding, I sprayed my neck and then put a bow tie on (I didn't sprayed directly on the tie) It was 18 October. When I open my wardrobe today I immediately get blast of hacivat almost a year later. My wife always asks: did you sprayed perfume on the clothes inside the wardrobe??. I wish I sprayed, I only had 1 ml sample from ebay 😄

Sounds like a very pleasing fragrance I've heard a lot about this and others from the house! Luckily I was able to purchase a Nishane discovery set from Luckyscent recently so I can't wait for it to be delivered and try the house for the first time. I'd say the one Nishane fragrance I would (blind) buy from Fragranceusa would be Ani, especially because of the way Vanilla, one of my favorite notes, is used in the fragrance! But I wanna wait til I get samples first lol!

I just visited their newest store in İstanbul this week, and they gave me an amazing sample set. I can say this house is going to be the biggest fragrance house in a year or two. Look how far they came in a year. Also, keep an eye on their newest fragrance, "EGE" (which means Aegean Sea in Turkish) you won't be disappointed ;) I think it will be available to preorder this week.

I used to call Creed Aventus the king of perfumes till 1 hour ago when I sprayed this masterpiece on the back of my hand, 20 minutes later the magic started. Tomorrow morning going back to that store.
