He just popped up in my feed one day for regular take and hold, no reloads. Been hooked since. I’m absolutely getting a VR setup soon because of this!

So the "quad stack" magazine is actually four single stacks separated by baffles feeding into a double stack neck. Its probably one of the worst magazines ever invented for the STANAG magazine pattern.

It really is. The follower is segmented and the middle parts come up into the neck once the four baffles are empty... or at least thats the theory. If the springs arent tensioned exactly right or if your feed stacks dont feed in the proper sequence the whole thing jams up and stops feeding. In Winter Soldier when Bucky had a 249 SAW with one of these mags sticking out the side of it I yelled at the screen "idiot prop!" Because on top of a shitty magazine, SAWs jam all the damn time running on magazine.

@@DinnerForkTongue Tombstone was a single-feed if I recall, it was two double-stacks feeding into a double stack feeding into a single-feed, on an SMG where most of the reliability comes from a propperly feeding mag... The one time going to a drum-mag might have helped reliability.

"I had a few of them left" *cue gif of infinite amount of bullets flowing from the mag like a waterfall*

“I need the 100 round magazine” *shoots 15 rounds and reloads”

*Repeatedly throws away armor-piercing incendiary ammo*

He throws it out because he's in one hit, if the bullet over-pens and doesn't kill them that can ruin the run right there. Or he just made a mistake lol idk

They made quad stack mags like that in 60 and 100 rounds Also for drum mags and stuff I recommend using the old tactical belt setup not the new one

A nice challenge run would be onyl using boltaction or level action rifles and revolvers, but I don't know if you can select the guns to spawn

Alfonso Barrado There used to be an “old west” spawn table in the old Take & Hold which did basically that, I can’t remember if that made it into the new version or not.

Nothing like that just yet, but it will be coming soon! With sosig guns to match! We can enable the item spawner and make our own runs, but that disables the leaderboards.

That mag on the MK18 and the M249 looks like a 100 rounder

Something I've learned in Tarkov every time I use an automatic rifle-caliber weapon is to not use them lol. I stick to SMGs. If you're more into head-on fights though I would advise against pistol calibers as you'll just get torn up by rifles. Personally I stick to the shadows (i.e., I sit in a bush and pop out when someone walks past), so SMGs work fine in that case.

Yeah I'm still finding my bearings in that game. I like camping out for a while before going somewhere to loot. Been trying out some suppressed marksman rifles recently.

He's using armswinger locomotion, you move by pressing a button and swinging. It doesn't sound intuitive, but trust me, get used to it and you'll never go back.

The holds themselves are actually scored based on how quickly you complete them. And if you a fail one, the run is over, it doesn't reset.

One thing that always puzzled me about armswinger is how are you supposed to turn if you only have two sensors in front of you (I’m on oculus rift and I have two sensors set up on a table in front of me). I’ve always had a problem with clicking Y every single time I have to move plus when I’m in a fight and need to eject a pistol mag or swing out and empty revolver cylinder I just jump instead so I have to stop moving to take time to click the buttons and reload which always ends up in me dying. I just don’t know what to do anymore for take and hold

Put the 60 rnd mag in a bolt action

can't you change the aperture on those sights at the beginning?

Not on that particular gun, the sight is just up or down. Even so, that *was* the wide aperture. They're a lot easier to use IRL.

I'm sure that it gets quite annoying seeing all those people complaining about that damned bot

Is your HDR colour correction on? It tends to make most situations brighter. You'll find it in the performance options.

What setting did you set it to move like that?

Most audio/footsteps. Might not come through as well in the VOD, but i can hear most of the doors in most of the rooms. For some of the larger ones, its all about hiding from as many doors as you can and just covering the rest

@@21owlgirl72 it's actually supposer to be performed by swinging arms normally like when you run in real life, but when you hold a weapon with both hands it looks weird and it's better to swing both arms in the same direction.

Tarkov sucks with its recoil system, before they updated it it was actually pretty good, but there were too many people whining about how high level players could laser people at 100m with full auto.
