I love your tails and your focus on tail safety! Since I see you’re very happy to get response on your tails, so you can improve them I have a few things I want to bring to your attention. Although I absolutely love you silicone tails I find that the flukes tend to look kind of “bubbly” if that makes sense. Almost as though there’s some air stuck inside the silicone. That’s one of the things that have made me not want to buy your tails. I always find the flukes somewhat sloppy looking. Mermaid Minow did also mention this in the video. Now please, understand that I don’t mean this in any hateful way I just want to help you improve your Tail-making skills since your so talented and focused on the right things.

Another excellent video! I’m really excited to see how it swims! 🤩

H2O was my mermaid awakening. I'd always loved the Barbie mermaid movies and I'm finally getting a silicone mermaid tail that looks like Merleah's tail from Barbie in a Mermaid Tail 2 with a bit of my own flair. But 10/10 I would love to try and make a hybrid tail with the H2O fluke. I just have to see if my printing people will finally give me a quote... >w

I LOVE the silicone fabric hybrids. They are my favorite! So cool to learn Hailey makes these. Beautiful top and tail. I can't wait to see more of them. Can you please do a video with all your tails again. You have some lovely new ones.

I'll have to put that down as a video idea to do in the future! My collection has grown a lot since my last video for sure!

When I first got into mermaiding as a teen i ended up quitting in part because i didnt have access to anywhere i could swim as well as the fact that fabric tails weren't really as widespread then (before, at least as far as I knew, it was just finfun style tails or silicone tails which is a pretty big gap financially lol) but also because I just felt like i wasn't really the "type" of person who could be a mermaid due to some comments i was told about my body and skintone as a desi person whose on the squishier side. But then the show She-Ra and the Princesses of Power came out and the mermaid princess, Mermista, looked exactly like me! So i guess she's the mermaid that really inspired me to try it again lol. I'm hoping to get a custom finfun that looks like hers to use with my linden monofin :D I'm also hoping to get a blue version of the H2O tail at some point since I am nonbinary and I figured the mermaid tail shape combined with the mermen tail colors would work well for a nonbinary mer within the context of that franchise's lore lol c:

Thank you. Unfortunately since the tail is too short, it slips off in a few kicks so there won't be test footage until I'm able to figure out a better way to swim in the tail.

All my mermaid friends and I say that we "Feel like we're in H2O" when we would swim with our monofins. Safe to say, I think almost every mermaid feels that draw toward the same tail style. Super cute fin, can't wait to see your swimming video!

My own mermaid inspiration is from Lettuce from Tokyo Mew Mew. She's the character that really made me love mermaids, along with Madison from Splash. Design wise, I take more inspiration from my own characters and aesthetic, as well as from nature.

Definitely Ariel and the little mermaid tale I grew up wanting to be. In my bath I’d bring dolls with tails and would use a cloth on my hand to pretend it had long mermaid hair lol! Oh the imagination of kids 🥰

Mine was made differently, I tried to make mine the same way they made them for the show. It’s sculpted on a mannequin and I made a 3d mold and cast it in a solid piece then added the scales with silpoxy

Im new to the mer community, but personally (dont get me wrong I love H2O tails) i fell in love with the Mako Mermaid style of tails, similar but with a tad bit of changes, colors mostly. Gonna start working on strengthening my legs so i can at least eventually handle a silicone fluke when im ready and can afford one 🥰

Welcome to the community! The Mako Mermaid tails are gorgeous too! It definitely is a good idea to start with a monofin like the linden or finfun to work up your dolphin kick for silicone flukes.

Definetely will look into it, already use a fin-fun pro monofin and a tail, so i thought id wanna work up my strength to swim in (even though more challenging and heavy) a tail i’d feel more connected to. Any recomendations a tad bit above the fin fun pro?

@@natalialandin2100 I’d say the linden probably is. It gives you a bit more resistance and propulsion. It’s also a very budget friendly fin too!

@@mermaidminnow is there a way i could talk to (and by that i mean messege, if you’re comfortable with that) you? I’d like some advice on a personal health issue, related to mermaiding. I feel like a fish out of water lol. I dont have insta atm so i was wondering if there was anything else you’re okay with, since im a new subscriber and all 😊 and if you’re not comfortable with that no worries too, anything is alright 😄😌

It won't be coming unfortunately. The tail is too short of me and I haven't been able to find someone locally to help add some height to the tail to make it swimable. :(

The beach in my intro is Rialto Beach just outside of La Push, but it is the movie version of La Push beach!

i think she needs a little more practice making tails before she starts selling them. so she can perfect them. there was a lot of mistakes, I would of cried if I got this tail after spending money on it.
