If you are confident enough to get a job then please go ahead and file it. Make sure 7000 USD is a much bigger amount to pay for filing. Negotiate it to 3000 USD. I did the same. Don't waste your hard earned money and don't listen to people who are saying dont come here and there. Maybe they don't know completely about yourself more than what you know about yourself. Trust in you and process the filing.

Hello Andi. I am staying in USA with my family from last 3 years. We all leave USA by September end. For schooling purpose, I would like to send my family early. Is it good idea to send them in June or July to save tax as we file tax Jointly? I only work. I heard they have to stay 183 days in USA to be eligible for filing jointly. Is that tru?
