There is an incredible amount of driveline loss on the H1 with the portal hubs and half shafts, a lot of weight and drag from the wheel and tire package, it has the aerodynamic properties of a parachute, and I'm guessing that truck with all of that stuff weighs north of four tons. I would be impressed if it breaks into the 20s.

Yup, even after they claim everything is straight. Someone with more money than class designed and built this truck. What is the point? Leather everywhere? So much for actual off road use. Look at all the lights that you cannot use anywhere! Can't go offroad or you will ruin all the underpinnings, can't use the majority of the features on road. And the way he pronounces FLiR is annoying as fuck. It's Fleer, not flur. Add to that he knows nothing about what he is talking about. We built the engine, new pistons, arp studs.... Great. Did you do anything else? What about power output? No, just look, it's all blue and black with straight stitching and had capabilities we can't even measure, because it'll only ever see the dirt in the garden in front of the house.

Look at 5:33 and 6:40. The front seats are tilted WAY back, probably so the camera could peek over them to see the dashboard more easily. I think that is what is taking up so much of the legroom for the 2nd row seating. That said, H1 seating in the 1st and 2nd rows is still rather cramped. To fit 4 adults in those seats you've got to keep the seatbacks nearly vertical.

Works for me in midnight stealth black with some options like an ipad in the dash, run flats in the tyres, solid sound system, dual horn (Rig mode & Range Rover type), few rugged mods, two spare wheels on the roof plus one rear and full off road package. I live in west Africa and travel a lot encountering highway robbers / kidnappers ,one defo needs this to plough through them without regrets if ever one encounters them. Bottom line, it should only stop when I decide for it to stop. I will definitely get in touch soon.

Michael Northrup most had been a fca dealership, if you ask for anything other unless it is on the lot ( where I got my H3) they kindly say screw your choices, you don't know anything about anything we know what you need, despite never doing such things you will do we still know best, then again any other dealer would do the same, but being banned is interesting.

Apparently you never drove in an h1 if you say that, complaining about leg room on this build is like complaining on leg room in the back seats of a sport car, while the owner drives this h1, you can enjoy as much leg room as you need while you riding the bus to work.

mpg isn't really a very honest unit of measurement anyway. You don't own and operate a vehicle just to cover a certain distance and to burn a certain amount of fuel. You operate that vehicle for the purpose of transporting PEOPLE AND STUFF over that distance and with that amount of fuel. Therefore, the unit of measurement should also include how much payload (as measured in pounds or kilos) that you are transporting over that distance for a given volume of fuel. Sure a Prius gets more miles per gallon. But does it do so with 6 full sized adults on board? Does it do so with the standard payload of even a conventional 4 person Hummer H1?
