I would love to try one but the marketing is non existent. I do know they are faster rotating than vertical wet grinders like Tormek etc. but perhaps that might be misleading since you aren't rubbing the outer edge but instead the side of the stone. I guess buying the cheap 7" version on eBay / amazon for $150 would be best to get a feel for this style of sharpener
