H. Moser CEO: “They say we are mavericks in the watch industry”

Edouard Meylan, CEO of watchmaker H. Moser & Cie., knows how to build buzz, be it by making models out of cheese or by speaking out against a lack of government support for the industry. How does this rebel from a traditional watch family come up with his ideas and is it more than just smart PR?

I only discovered Moser & Cie in the last month & what little I know of them I absolutely love. A very impressive interview by the CEO, clearly a man that wants & expects the finest quality in their products. I hope they continue to grow but never to lose their independence.

Honesty is a powerful way to sale products. People always respond to that in a positive way. Removing the Swiss made from the product identity was a bold move but the confidence that comes with making a superior product should be more than simply relying on Swiss made to make a sale. Congratulations to the company leadership for taking a stand and making a decision to pursue excellence and exclusivity in their watches because in the luxury brand space this mindset is always appreciated and will never go out of style.

OMG, to compare Moser to all the automobiles, Maserati Et,Al is ok.However, we are missing the boat, here (please excuse the metaphor). It is more like a fresh streamlined (limited edition)boat in uncharted waters.Mr E. Meylan is a most impressive CEO.I cannot wait to add a Moser watch to my collection.Their watch designs are (for me)the most complicated and elegant simplicity.
