It is lovely listening to his holiness speaking. I do research on Buddhism in Bihar and have found the villages connected to Tilopa and Naropa. I hope his holiness will one day visit these places because Tilopa and Naropa are still being prayed to.

Dalai is an instrument of peace. I have a special love for him because I know what he went through. Even though I believe in Jesus, I look at Dalai as a sacred heart as well. ❤ I share in his reasoning and his emphasis on compassion. Dalai should not be used as a good luck charm........He is not for the riches of this world....he is for the riches of the heart.....loving kindness for one another. ❤

Hard to fathom the Dalai Lama after researching what life was like for the typical Tibetan under the lamas. I have an interest in Buddhism. But hard to listen to the teachings of someone who caused so many to suffer so terribly and in such a thoroughly humiliating way. His words and mannerisms seem at great odds with how the lamas have treated their own people. I do not understand how others reconcile this unless they are being willfully ignorant. Tricking people into thinking that they deserve to be treated horribly because they committed great sin in a past life isn't exactly appealing. Maybe someone can explain this to me please?

I like the Dalai Lama but not as much as the Buddha himself whi gave us his orginal teachings

We have only one Creator, but we came up with nearly 4200 different religions! Humans were created weak, we are not able to know the future, and we cannot control other people, therefore we are not able to make us happy. We need our Creator to make us happy. Do Not let these illiterate preachers who only follow their own conjectures rape your heart and soul for few $ and fame. Now we have the scientifically proven scripture based on mathematic, the exact science, the untouched message from our Creator. Happiness is submission to the rules of our Creator.

I don't see any renunciation within Dalai Lama himself. From what I have observed he is such a spiritual hypocrit and dictator. I am sorry if I have offended any of his followers. It is my sincere hope that one day people can look within to see their true nature, than looking outside to a spiritual fraud such as Dalai Lama for hope.
