That soulful voice is what seperates you from the rest.
H.E.R is always awesome. Her song I Can't Breathe is awesome. As an Asian American human being for having Filipino and Indian heritages. I love, respect and support Black people for who they are no matter if those Black people are just Blacks or biracial Blacks. Life with Black people inside and outside of America is perfect. If the world did not have Black people life is ugly, sad and upsetting. But with Black people in the world. Life is awesome and healthy for me respecting and supporting people for being the same and different.

Maybe because its a tired and whiny blues pentatonic tuneless drab 3 chord trope. Its awful, if you take the time to actually listen, tokenism 'rap' for the 3rd verse, and the reason no-one hears this, or even seeks to is because its crap. I think a grammy should have gone to Cory Henry, or Snarky Puppy, you know - good new MUSIC, that blends gospel, jazz, blues, and pop into a unique style that FILLS halls throughout the world. You still wonder why its not on the radio? its RUBBISH, and boring, even on the first listen, predictable, and whiny shit.

It's like pride parades. Setting yourself apart from others in demanding special attention doesn't create peace. At all.

Have you thought that maybe, just maybe. That the police take more brutality than the civilians. Be thankful they ain't putting they're real bullets in you.

It makes me so very sad how we treat each other...but at the same time it makes me extremely happy of knowing God created all of us..color and gender.
Why can't certain people just enjoy this song without worrying about what skin color the singer has? No matter H.E.R's ethnicity, this song deserves the grammy. If she were Irish, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Domincan, Columbian, Panamanian, African, Jamacian, Romanian, Swedish, a mix of all or some of them, IT WOULDN'T CHANGE THE MESSAGE OF THIS SONG.

@@leonkurto i was surprised too. I never followed the Grammys before so I thought it was supposed to be most popular song, but then i thought i just didn't know how the Grammy's worked. My personal fave was Billie Eilish's "Everything I Wanted."
Wow, what a powerful song. Saw it on the list of Grammy Awards on the NY Times and notices H.E.R. pop up. As I just watched the Netflix movie YES DAY!
It's always the videos that speak the truth that never gets the attention that it deserves!
Best voice in all of soul/ R &B music.
"IF we all agree that we're equal as people then WHY CAN'T we see what is evil" Fam, that sh*t IS DEEP 🤔🤔🤔 So do they see & agree that we're equal ✌🏾❤✊🏿💯

You're good, Queen; I'm hoping one day that instead of my crying bitter tears of frustration and rage every time I hear this song, I will cry tears of relief that it's finally "over". But I'm sure I'll be dead before there's real justice and equality for my people.
