H-E-B | Our Texas, Our Future Films: Ranching with Ocelots

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Ocelots, the United States’ most endangered cat, are thriving on a working cattle ranch in the brush country of deep South Texas. With fewer than 100 remaining, the ocelot’s future depends on Texan ranchers actively conserving the land needed for both ocelot habitation and cattle ranching. Ranching With Ocelots follows the traditional vaqueros and researchers creating a sustainable agricultural system to leave both a ranching and wildlife legacy.

Superbly done documentary. HEB is one of the best supermarket chains in the U.S. From the way they treat their employees, customers, product quality to their active engagement with their community. I wish more companies had this level of corporate stewardship.

As with all wild animals that are captive bred, I'm sure there is concern with AI breeding. How do we overcome the last challenge of releasing a successful progeny for the future. Cats have amazing instincts but how do we substitute those lessons mama teaches her offspring?
