Got back from Wrens, GA a couple of weekends ago for their Fly-In... it was friggin AWESOME. Two dozen (plus) gyros showed up... and one of the GyroGods in the large yellow 2-seater gave me a 12-15 ride... Did I say AWESOME! Oh yeah... it was AWESOME!!! MississippiSteve

what is the MINIMUM R.P.M. FOR THAT TOP ROTOR to fly? I assume it is driven by the motor all so? Or are you Just depending on the air to keep it moving? as I seen once a guy spin his by hand and the air did the rest???!

Main rotor on gyro is free rotating Mike, some have pre-rotation for launch, but after that they free rotate and only the pusher/tractor prop is motor driven. very cool machines.

I want one of these so badly?! One has to hand make this right? I never see one for sale... Ritax engines? what other kinds are they? what is the cost for a simple one lime the white one w no cowling? please reply as I really want to know and maybe add how WE CAN ALL ACQUIRE one of these Gyro-Coppers!!!!??

Michael Mills Some are plans built....some kits....some even assembled by manufacturers......there's usually some for sale on Barnstormers.com. Come on out anytime....we'll give ya a ride!! Barry

***** nice! what is the area of money? 5-10k? by the time all of your radios and stuff you will need extra are paid like any licencing or even can you be insured? how much to be all set? going to barn stormers asap!!ty for your reply and valid info!!!=MM

Michael Mills well.....plans built could start around $5-$12,000.....enclosed 2 place around $60,000 to 100,000+. Training is around $150+ per hour. Insurance is available but expensive. Most important is proper training.
