This is old an video from 1997, back then there was no Sport Pilot.
Where can an affordable Gyro kit be purchased?

SwollenCranium No, he is not the inventor. The history of rotorcraft began with the gyroplane on January 9 th, 1923. On that day, the inventor of the gyroplane, Juan de la Cierva, flew his "auto gyro"

That is correct......Juan de la Cierva from Spain, He was the 1st one, and maybe 20 years later Helicopters.
