Gypsy Cob & Vanner Appleby Horse Fair 2011
Appleby Horse Fair
Filmed during Appleby Horse Fair in June 2011, I decided to retain this footage to edit at a later date, once my editing skills had improved.
This short film reveals the fair in a slightly broader context, the usual gypsy cob's horse's or vanner's are in this film with my usual abundance, but also included are the market on 'Fair Hill' & sample's of the music buskers and traders at the fair. I hope that you all enjoy?
P.S. The penny whistles at funny points are to dub out some choice language.

This video just put The Appleby Horsefair on my bucket list!!!! Honestly....the foals are ADORABLE!
I remember watching this on tv but instead of a video a whole documentary! It was really interesting.

nice little video and good job on the editing & dubbing also nice when my two sons comes in with the "Tin Whistles" visual & sound it just make this film complete well done. ps nice part of us playing the instruments thanks!

I wasn't certain if the boys were part of the Doyle dynasty, I am pleased that once again you enjoyed my efforts, I could have done with more footage of the boys playing the whistles, hopefully I will get over to Appleby next month and see you all there, i'll introduce myself... Alan

There are cute.! An educated guy in his sixties from Oxford who has had horses all of his life, regretted never not visiting Appleby prior in his life.
I noticed they dont carry water for the horses. I bet they are hot and thirsty

They are many Gypsies at the fair most though who attend in th e21st century are travelers.
