Appleby Horse Fair 2013 - Yoking Up & Having Fun
The annual exodus from County Durham to Appleby Horse Fair in Cumbria has commenced early this year. This group had travelled from Gilesgate & Sherburn in Durham City to the Spennymoor area.
They will spend another week or so traveling to Appleby Fair, filmed on sunday 26th of May 2013 a warm sunny evening. I had gone to film the vardo 'living wagon' but once finished the lads kindly yoked up and laid on a trot for me to film.

That one horse left was cheering them on. So well behaved these horses.
