Great update! Goes to show usage and wear and tear affects a coating durability. Typically rated for 1 year with daily use and maintenance. 💪💪

Hey thanks brother. Yes, I can attest this stuff is awesome if your in my situation with garage and not driving as much. But I'd absolutely put this on a daily for sure. Just have to wash em and maintenance them more often and I bet it would last a good time. 👍

Wow! Great video Eric, I enjoyed watching the Gyeon Rim repel the soap. Nice update. It goes to show that proper maintenance and garage kept extends the life of the coating.

Smurf those wheels look brand new and this should let everyone know coatings don’t magically wear away. Appreciate the video and now you can go open up the throttle and burn rubber.

Thanks brother... yes, I've never used anything harsh at all. Mainly rinseless the entire time! And Apex soap I think the few times I actually washed them. 👍👍 I think the harsh cleaners especially use weekly or even every other week really degrade em! Appreciate you watching!

That was epic. I'd like to find something for out daily driver. 100 miles a day of interstate driving.

Thank you for tuning in man! So, this would be an option. There is also Kronos from PhoenixEOD which is tested to 1200 degrees and is GREAT for wheels! I've been happy so far with Gyeon rim but, this car doesn't get driven daily 😄

Doesn't really matter how long it's on, more how many miles since coating them. Coated our garage queen wheels yesterday.

Really???? That's odd.. this was 1 coat of Gyeon rim. Always cleaned with a ph neutral soap. No iron movers or wheel cleaners. Wonder if that was a key part of why🤔

@@PapaSmurf918Detail very well could have been but Fuego in particular is neutral unlike a lot of TGA containing wheel cleaners. They where brand new wheels and Gyeon prep was used prior. Could have been a fluke. I’m crazy about that car and it gets washed after every weekend it is driven. Maybe KCX Mwc was too much for it but I bet it was only used maybe 3 times….so I doubt it. All good. I polished them recently and did ADS Wheel, 2 coats. It’s a beast.

That looked impressive. Gyeon does make very cool products. It looked like your tires were repelling water pretty well, too. I probably wouldn't get the same results here because of all the winter road salts. I dare say the coating will still be holding up on your rims for a while yet. Sorta like the 49ers defense holding up against the Lions offense. Good luck this weekend, and give family big hugs.

Thanks Kim! Yes, I believe I had the Griots Ceramic tire dressing on them! However I'm very impressed with the Gyeon RIM.. I mean, yes I know it's garaged and not driven much but still looks amazing! Oh yes I'm hoping we take it to the BOWL this year.! Would be a heck of a season and we deserve it! So does Purdy! 😀 appreciate ya my friend! Will do!
