    Wouldn't strong chemicals like high pH prewash contribute to the coating degradation? As well as using clay mit/bar, wouldn't it scratch off the coating? I'm going to apply Gyeon Syncro (Mohs + Skin) soon, excited to see how it performs. But I've read that it's still not invincible against swirls, and pretty much any time you touch it (hand wash, clay, dry towel), it can develop swirls. My impression is that to maintain it you should only do basic foam + rinse + iron remover cycle, preferably touchless drying. But I'm very new to this :) Would appreciate any tips.

    If not diluted properly yes youโ€™re correct a high pH soap like most pre-washes will strip a coating just like โ€œtouchlessโ€ car washes No coating is 100% invincible to scratchโ€™s. itโ€™s meant to protect the paint. So if you get swirls then the swirls are in the coating and. It the paint.. meaning the coating has done its job. Youโ€™re correct you should be doing a full decon wash every 3 months and just wash your vehicle regularly. A high quality drying towel will not scratch your vehicle if done right. A lot you will learn through trial and error, but thatโ€™s half the fun. Iโ€™m happy to help more just dm me on our instagram Stancebros_

    hmmm, a detailed saying he wishes there wasnโ€™t consumer grade products. The truth is the gap is very very small between professional and consumer grade products.

    Couldnโ€™t agree more with you. Most professional grade coatings are just a glorified label. Gyeon is a great brand we were just surprised how this single Layer coating was performing after 6 months. Was better then I had expected for sure. Iโ€™m a big fan of mohs

    Being a pro detailer. I am Not a fan of Gyeon coatings. They just donโ€™t hold up compared to others in the industry. Just my opinion

    In my opinion gyeon is a great coating for when your new to ceramic coatings. They are great at being user friendly and I canโ€™t lie mohs is a great coating. Have you tried it?

    @@StanceBros_ yes we/ I first started as a detailer. I was 100% Gyeon. We had several Mohs & synchro failures. Since then we donโ€™t use anything Gyeon. Except their water spot remover( if we run out of Labo) Which is good.
