@vatoloco2116 it's a fricative consonant, meaning the sound of the beginning of the word sounds like a vowel because the h is silent. So "an" is actually the proper way to say this.

Guys it's Perilla leaf. you can see it very commonly in Korean dishes. usually fermented in soy souce etc and come as side dish. Very delicious.

I think the main problem is that it is not pasteurized, we prefer naturally raised eggs to industrial eggs, so I guess it gradually becomes a habit to over cook it.

@vatoloco2116 it's a fricative consonant, meaning the sound of the beginning of the word sounds like a vowel because the h is silent. So "an" is actually the proper way to say this.

Guys it's Perilla leaf. you can see it very commonly in Korean dishes. usually fermented in soy souce etc and come as side dish. Very delicious.

@@diggs5518 Don't ever go to Hawaii. It's served in 5 star rated and even a Michelin star restaurant. It's been a staple ever since World War 2. And actually spam was inspired by potted ham which has been used on an off as a delicacy in Europe for over a century.
grew up eating stuff like this. the only difference was the bread was on the outside. still love a good fried egg, cheese and lunchmeat sandwich.

I think the main problem is that it is not pasteurized, we prefer naturally raised eggs to industrial eggs, so I guess it gradually becomes a habit to over cook it.

@@SongHaHwa I don't think that matters at all unless you don't wash the eggs off. Natural eggs don't need refrigeration where store bought do. And that doesn't have any sway on cooking. I think it's just a cultural thing as I've seen meals with raw eggs too

Wrapping a slice of bread and egg is definitely a new take on French toast I've not seen
From what I've seen with these quick Korean street food type dishes, they are embracing elements and ingredients of Western food (white bread, cheese, ham?), but they keep everything Korean at the same time with the other flavor profiles, and the presentation. Love it.
