I love how this song is basically about a girl not recognizing herself as she starts to like someone and doesn't want to face that "version" of herself in the mirror, because it's different and different can be scary. But at the same time they can't deny how they feel and give themselves up to that feeling because it's powerful. When Lena says "oh please take me I'm a sacrificial lamb," is an interesting lyrics because it makes it creepy comparing the growing infatuation with a sacrifice like they are losing control of themselves. And later on they say "but the girl is myself," so they acknowledge that they are becoming "the" girl, the girl who is romantically interested in someone and they can't ignore it any longer. I love GWSN!!

@@nakynaki i mean, it could work with a hetero romance, because the prospect of love itself can be quite scary to some people, but it makes a bit more sense when it's a wlw one since wlw people are so discriminated against and commonly called things like 'unnatural' and 'abominations', and maybe the girl they're singing about could have internalized all of this prejudice, and maybe she doesn't want to be considered an unnatural abomination so she's in denial, until it gets to the point where she has no choice but to accept it. but that's just my personal interpretation of things, this isn't confirmed or anything.

She got a proper line in Red Sun, and you could hear a couple peeps out of her in Puzzle Moon and Pinky Star. But Bazooka and the current era, she gets SCRAPS. She usually gets a single line in b-sides...but yeah, she's easily the most shafted member. And even in I Sing Lalala and Starry Night, her lines are so easily confused with Anne's
