Over the weekend of the 14-16th of April, the Severn Valley Railway held their Spring Steam Gala. This was celebrating 100 Years since the grouping, and particularly 100 Years of the GWR. This event was one I was incredibly excited for and it did not disappoint, this video was filmed by my grandad, so I would like to thank him for the footage, as in my opinion it is excellent.
3 Guest Locomotives were present at this gala, the star guest was billed as 4079 Pendennis Castle, making it's first ever appearance at a heritage railway other than Didcot. This was joined by GWR Prairie 4555 (does not feature) and BR Standard 2 78018.
